The Eagles love their Bulldogs, as they’ve drafted a whopping three players from the University of Georgia through round four of the 2023 NFL Draft.
“That’s an exciting moment for me,” Carter said after the Eagles took him at No. 9,
“Them guys were the leaders on the 2021 team and I just know if I got any questions, I can ask them and also ask anybody else on the team.”, Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni said pairing players with their college teammates isn’t an accident. Nolan Smith joined the Eagles before the end of the first round at No. 30.“That’s a big thing when you go away to college and you know somebody there,” Sirianni said. “That helps.
Carter, Smith and Ringo join an Eagles defense that allowed 179.8 passing yards and 301.5 yards total yards per game last season.
