Antonio Conte will want to add strength in depth to his Tottenham side this summer with Paulo Dybala and James Ward-Prowse linked THFC
gettyConte is a serial winner finding success as a player and now as a coach. The 52-year-old has won league titles at every club he has taken charge of and the Italian would not have taken the reins at Spurs if he didn’t believe he could lead the club their first top flight title since 1961.
The midfield is an area in need of refurbishment with Tanguy Ndombele on loan at Lyon and Harry Winks seemingly not in Conte’s plans. The Scottish international has three years left on his contract at Villa Park and despite Manchester United previously showing an interest in the former Hibernian man, a move to Spurs could be on the horizon for the 27-year-old.
Spurs came close to signing Dybala in 2020 but the Argentine opted to stay at Juventus. The club are once again showing an interest, with the player now a free agent. Spurs’ managing director of football, Fabio Paratici, spent 11 years working at Juventus, which could prove beneficial if any talks were to surface.
