Drivers are being warned they will face some disruption
The DVLA is warning drivers that certain services will not be available on its website over the weekend. The driving authority's site is undergoing maintenance updates
Certain online services will be unavailable from Friday evening until Saturday afternoon . An announcement on the DVLA's website said changes are being made due to the spring Budget. A statement published on Thursday read: "Some of our online vehicle services will be unavailable on March 31 and April 1 as we are making changes due to announcements in the recent Budget." It comes as drivers are being warned that car tax prices are set to increase by 10.1% on April 1 - in line with the Retail Price Index which measures inflation, reports the Daily Record.This means drivers will have to pay more to keep their cars on the road.
