The box office totals for Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves are in, and unfortunately the numbers don’t suggest a sequel will be moving forward.
Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves' final box office numbers are in, and the results don't bode well for a sequel getting the green light. Directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, the movie serves as an adaptation of the beloved tabletop role-playing game. Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves stars Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, and Hugh Grant, among others, and earned mostly positive reviews from critics.
As the tweet, shared above, reveals, the film had a budget of $150M, which doesn't include money spent on press and advertising. A general rule when it comes to major Hollywood productions is that marketing doubles the actual production budget of a film. Unfortunately, this means Honor Among Thieves 2 is now looking a lot less likely.
