In this week’s North Royalton Police Blotter, police observed a speeding silver Nissan Maxima traveling 68 mph on W. 130th Street.
Drunken driving, W. 130th Street:The officer pulled over the Strongsville driver, who not only was shirtless and sweating but also appeared to have urinated in his pants.
Told he was traveling 68 mph, the man said, “Was I? Also, the officer suspected the man got off the highway at the wrong exit. During search of the Maxima, police found two THC vials and rolling papers, as well as an open bottle of vodka. An arriving officer talked to the man, who smelled like a brewery. Asked how much he had to drink, the man slurred, “Not much.”During the ride to the police station, the driver was trying to sweet talk the officer into not arresting him and instead letting his wife pick him up.
