Motorists will be unable to park on a residential street in East Renfrewshire as pavement resurfacing works take place.
The prohibition will be applied to sections of Broomfield Avenue in Newton Mearns as and when required by the contractor on site, relative to the progress of the works.
The “essential footway resurfacing works” are anticipated to begin on Tuesday, May 9, and last until Friday, June 2. The parking restrictions will only be in force between the contractor's working hours of 9am and 4pm, with no weekend working due to take place. Enquiries relating to the restrictions should be emailed to customerservices@eastrenfrewshire.gov.uk and marked for the attention of the Roads Maintenance Section.
