According to 6ABC, a car accident resulted in the driver being thrown from a vehicle that overturned in Northeast Philadelphia.
The crash happened on Academy Road near Morrell Avenue just after 1 a.m. Monday. Police said the driver lost control and struck a utility pole. The driver is hospitalized in critical condition. It was not immediately apparent why the driver lost control of the vehicle, theFortunately, no other injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing, said Philadelphia police.
