A driver has been caught speeding at almost 100mph while under the influence of cannabis on the A1
, according to police.
Officers from Police Scotland's Road Policing Unit stopped the Vauxhall Corsa after recording it travelling at excessive speeds yesterday.Results showed the motorist had tested positive for cannabis and they were also driving without an MOT. The RPU tweeted images drugs test and speed checker at 97mph, with a statement saying: "Dalkeith Road Policing were on patrol on the A1 yesterday when this car caught their eye.
