Dashcam footage shows multi-vehicle m2 crash as one person taken to hospital
ONE person has been hospitalised after a massive multi-vehicle crash involving at least 10 cars on a busy motorway.The collision happened on the northbound lane of the motorway on the outer overtaking lane close to the Mallusk junction on Tuesday afternoon.
Drivers were advised to seek alternative routes as emergency services attended the scene of the collision.At least 10 cars were involved in the pileup, with those at the back appearing to have suffered the most damage. A spokesperson said: "Police received a report of a collision on the northbound side of the M2, near Mallusk junction, just after 4.10pm on Tuesday, 24th January.
Separately, a woman aged in her 80s, has died after she was struck by a car while out walking in Co Clare.
