‘I wanted to show young kids that they all have qualities that make them special,’ - DrRanj Dr Ranj Singh wants to provide children with encouragement to be their best selves with the release of his new picture book A Superpower Like Mine 🦸‍♂️

‘With really little, it’s hard to tell what effect the pandemic may have had on them because they’re not as integrated into the wider world,’ he explains. ‘But it can have a knock-on effect on them.

Femi then thinks about all her friends and their superpowers: humour, kindness and imagination, and how they can use their qualities to improve the world around them. Lead character Femi is Black and uses a wheelchair, while we see other characters of various backgrounds, cultures and abilities.
