Mayor Mark Saliba says this project is a big step forward, getting Dothan Police more focused on crime and getting a much needed renovated animal shelter.
“This was the last piece of the puzzle,” said Rachel Smith, executive director of WPRAC. “We needed that yes vote.” “Our facility has not been where it needs to be, just in the way that it looks and its location as well,” said Mayor Saliba. “I think we all have agreed that moving it out and moving away from Omussee would be a great thing for us to do.”
