Top Workplace winners score high among their peers on effective leadership, strong values and clear direction for the company.
So far, more than 200 companies have signed up to have their employees surveyed as part of our program to recognize the best of the region, and employees of nominated companies will be surveyed through June. This fall, we’ll announce the Top Workplaces in a special section of the Express-News and at our annual awards ceremony.
Companies are separated into small, midsize and large categories based on their number of employees in the region.were Security Service Federal Credit Union ; JBGoodwin Realtors ; and San Antonio Smart Solutions . Energage, the newspaper’s research partner for this program, conducts Top Workplaces surveys in 61 markets and surveyed more than 2 million employees at more than 8,000 organizations last year. The process is based on a scientific survey of employees who rate their workplace culture. It also gives companies insight into what makes them unique.Employees of surveyed organizations: 50,974
