Dog Euthanized After Attack on 5-Year-Old Boy in Dallas |
A mother Friday said her 5-year-old boy was recovering after being attacked by a dog in North Dallas moments after he got off a school bus Thursday.
The attack happened shortly after 3 p.m. Thursday in an apartment complex on Timberglen Road near the President George Bush Turnpike and Frankford Road. Dallas police said the dog got out of an apartment and bit the little boy, leaving him with serious injuries."There was a lady and a guy, and God bless them because if the kid survives, it's because of them," said neighbor Cristian Cortes.
Mendelsohn quoted the mother on her Twitter feed Friday saying about the child"he is a fighter and he is fighting to get better."
