Alfie, the seven-year-old Chihuahua, has been left with brain damage after Alison McGarr's car was struck in the side by another vehicle coming out of Spruce Road.
A beloved family dog has been left fighting for his life following a terrifying crash last Wednesday.
Vets believe the loveable dog suffered brain damage and the family are trying to ensure Alfie has the best chance to survive. However, bills are racking up into the thousands.Alison told Glasgow Live: "I was involved in a car crash last Wednesday."Hooper, my Yorkshire Terrier, got home that day but Alfie they kept him in. I was told he suffered brain damage.
"I want to give him the best chance possible but it seems like time is slipping away. We're at the vet two or three times a day."
