Glasgow Sheriff Court heard that the 33-year-old was talking with a man in the city centre about the dog.In an agreed written narration handed to a sheriff, the Crown states:"Without prompt or warning, the dog who Islam was in control of and holding on to its lead at the time lashed out.Islam was cautioned and charged by the officers before replying:"I'm sorry."He was given a tetanus injection and antibiotics.
Sheriff Bernard Ablett made an order for the dog to receive treatment at a vet for her groin and joint issues.Sheriff Ablett stated to Islam:"The dog will not be destroyed, do you understand?"
