District 1 Councilman Mario Bravo and education consultant Sukh Kaur will meet first in the town hall-style debate hosted by the San Antonio Report at the McAllister Auditorium at San Antonio College beginning at 6:30 p.m., followed by District 7 candidates Marina Alderete Gavito and Dan Rossiter at 7:30 p.m.
San Antonio Report Editor in Chief Leigh Munsil will moderate the District 7 debate, and Government and Politics Reporter Andrea Drusch will moderate the District 1 debate. Bravo, a first-term incumbent whose City Council colleagues gave him a vote of no-confidence in November, drew six challengers and finished behind Kaur in Saturday’s vote. Neither gained the greater than 50% threshold to avoid a runoff.Do you have a question for the candidates
