Disney has struck a deal with Comcast that gives it full control of streaming service Hulu
Disney announced Tuesday that it has come to an agreement with Comcast to take full operational control of Hulu starting immediately.
The agreement, which was announced ahead of Disney’s upfront presentation to advertisers, places the company in a strong position as viewers gravitate from linear TV to streaming platforms. In addition to Hulu, which is supported by both advertisements and subscription fees, Disney will launch streaming service Disney+ in November.
