Disneyland already has plans for a new E-ticket dark ride in Avengers Campus and an Avatar experience.
“Disney will explore even more characters and franchises, including some that haven’t been leveraged extensively to date, as it embarks on a new period of significant growth domestically and internationally in its parks and resorts,” according to a Disney press release.
While 100 million people a year visit Disney theme parks around the world, Disney’s internal research shows there are 700 million more with a “high Disney affinity” who have not yet visited a Disney theme park.
