Jordan South has launched a petition to try to get the council to set up more spaces for disabled adults in the city
A campaigner has said the lack of indoor recreational spaces for disabled adults is "absolutely ridiculous" and is asking the council to take action.
"Especially in this day and age, when they're all about being inclusive, but for some odd reason they never seem to do anything that seems to help improve access for people with special needs and learning difficulties. Despite the efforts of Jordan, his carer and his family, he has been unable to find somewhere in West Yorkshire which fits his needs. Another benefit, Jordan argues, would be in allowing people with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Wheelchair users and others to be themselves in an area designed for them.
