Monday evening, Alaska State Troopers and Emergency Services respond to a motor vehicle, dirt bike collision
FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Monday evening, Alaska State Troopers and Emergency Services responded to a motor vehicle, dirt bike accident that happened on the Old Nenana Highway around 7:40 p.m.
According to AST, a 14-year-old boy died after the dirt bike he was riding crashed into the side of a truck. The boy was riding a dirt bike along a power line trail and a truck was driving on a road that crosses the trail when the accident occurred. He was wearing a helmet. The driver of the truck attempted life saving measures on the teen and when Emergency Services arrived, the medics took over. He was ultimately pronounced dead.
