Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown may have confirmed that a long-rumored spin-off of the show will not happen at all in the future.

Since 2016, Millie Bobby Brown has played the character of Eleven/Jane on Stranger Things which has since become a global phenomenon and one of Netflix's biggest TV shows of all time.
“Stranger Things takes up a lot of time to film and it’s preventing me from creating stories that I’m passionate about. So I’m ready to say, ‘Thank you, and goodbye....' When it ends, I’m going to be able to still see these people.” That said, taking Stranger Things' biggest character and giving them a spin-off despite season 5's ending would mean the show has run into these same issues. Stranger Things 5 needs to give every single one of its characters a satisfying ending, something that leaving Eleven open for future stories would negate.
