The story about the country music star has taken off on social media, but is it true?

It has been a little more than a month since Garth Brooks caused folks to lose their minds simply by saying that he would serve Bud Light in his new Nashville bar.
In that instant he became a cancel culture target, and folks took to social media to swear off his concerts, wish for his business’ failure, and promise they were burning or deleting all of his albums that they had already paid for.He isn’t Bud Light which was never, honestly, all that good anyway. Brooks is an elite artist with a history of hits and a catalog that is about as good as it gets.
But social media has become a place where absolutely false stories can be presented as fact … over and over and over again. So, if you check out social, and don’t do too much deep digging, you might really think the blowback has significantly damaged Brooks’ billfold.
