Authorities say an 18-year-old male was killed and eight other students were injured in the Colorado school shooting
Two students opened fire at a suburban Denver school on Tuesday, killing an 18-year-old and wounding eight other students, authorities said.
The two male suspects, identified as 18-year-old Devon Erickson and a juvenile, were taken into custody during a struggle when deputies swarmed STEM School Highlands Ranch minutes after the first reports of gunfire, said Douglas County Sheriff Tony Spurlock. Several of the wounded were in critical condition at local hospitals, he said.
