Delta Sonic plans improve traffic flow at its Naperville car wash.
The company, headquartered in Buffalo, New York, is seeking city approval to upgrade its nearly 5-acre site by relocating pay booths and express lane machines, increasing the number of cars that can stack in waiting lanes by 20 spaces, and constructing a storage area and waste container enclosure.
Besides protecting customers from the weather, the vacuum facility will simplify traffic patterns by diverting motorists exiting the car wash directly into the indoor vacuum facility instead forcing vehicles to navigate back through the property to access the vacuum stalls, according to documents filed by Delta Sonic with the city.
