Death of the Justice League features a bizarre parallel to Infinity War, as Black Adam returns to Earth with a dire warning in a moment highly reminiscent of Bruce Banner's warning about Thanos.

The Death of the Justice League has shaken the DC Universe, and in a moment that feels right out of Avengers: Infinity War and The Infinity Gauntlet Saga, Black Adam reveals the terrible threat coming to Earth after they suffer a great defeat. In Justice League #75 by DC Comics, Black Adam crashes through the Hall of Justice, managing to say just a few words that"the Justice League... are... dead.

In the classic Infinity Gauntlet storyline from Jim Starlin, George Perez, Ron Lim, Josef Rubinstein, Jack Morelli, Max Scheele, and Ian Laughlin from Marvel Comics, the comic opens with a bang. As Doctor Strange is doing magical research, the Silver Surfer crashes through the top of the Sanctum Santorum. Barely able to muster words together, the cosmic hero tells Strange Thanos is coming, and his arrival could spell the end of the universe.

The moment parallels Avengers: Infinity War and the comic that inspired it. Both scenes feature a transformative hero just slipping out of a deadly battle, only to crash through an iconic building . Each warn the remaining heroes of the threat that's coming as they lay injured and shocked in the rubble.

Whether the dark ending from The Death of the Justice League and The Infinity Gauntlet and Avengers: Infinity War is intentionally similar or not, it's hard to deny that they don't at least parallel each other. Like Hulk and Silver Surfer, Black Adam made an important crash-landing and warning that should give the heroes a fighting chance - as the Great Darkness attempts to shape the Multiverse in its own image. However, will the warning be enough? Readers will find out more soon.
