Superman is without a doubt one of the most powerful heroes in the DC Universe and one of the most difficult heroes to fight, but one dark future version of Robin is surprisingly the ultimate Superman killer. Many fans believe that with enough 'prep time' Batman could take down Superman, but this version of Robin is a far more dangerous opponent for the Man of Steel.
There have been many occasions where evil versions of heroes have arrived in the main world, be they from alternate universes or from alternate timelines. The Batman Who Laughs is one of the most famous examples of a dark version of a classic hero, who proved that, when turned to evil, the skills of an established hero can be dangerous for the entire multiverse.

This was confirmed in Superman Vol. 4 #37, by Peter Tomasi, Patrick Gleason, Jorge Jiménez, and Alejandro Sánchez, when future-Tim tricks Superman into a Red Kryptonite cage. neutralizing him without killing him. This was done after Tim defeated Batman by shooting him in Wayne Manor. Just like that, a former Robin was able to bring down Earth's two greatest and most capable heroes with really little issue or effort on his part.
Tim Easily Incapacitates Superman With how many heroes there are in the DC Universe, all of them amazing capable, many people often forget just how absurdly well-trained the Robins are themselves. Batman is one of the greatest tacticians and fighters on the planet, and he devised ways to deal with every one of his fellow heroes in case they ever went rogue, including Superman.
