Artist aljeensane shares a piece of Doctor Who art that sees David Tennant's Fourteenth Doctor regenerate into the outfit worn by his predecessor Jodie Whittaker's Thirteenth Doctor. The Tenth Doctor actor made his surprising return to the long-running British sci-fi series in the closing moments of the show's 2022 BBC Centenary special, "The Power of the Doctor".
In the artwork, the Fourteenth Doctor is leaping into action to face any threats the galaxy can throw at him, brandishing Whittaker's Sonic Screwdriver as the Thirteenth Doctor's hooded coat flows behind him. Alongside the artwork, aljeensane explains that they felt the Thirteenth Doctor's clothes fit well with Tennant's new incarnation, criticizing the reasons behind the decision to have the Doctor suddenly regenerate into new clothes as well.
