David Tennant took aim at the SNP finances during his recent hosting stint on Have I Got News For You

After poking fun at the PM's plans to improve numeracy and enforce maths across the school curriculum, Tennant asked: "Which Scottish politician might be arrested this week?"Tennant replied: "I'm assuming nothing. It's just a speculation." Beaumont then chipped in, leaving the audience in stitches: "It's all gone quite sexy though, isn't it now, the SNP? With like lies, police uniforms. I'm interested now. Simply because Happy Valley is finished."
Elsewhere in the show, Tennant was roasted by the guests after his close friend Michael Sheen phoned in to help with the pronunciation of a Welsh town. After Sheen's brief appearance, they all heaped praise on the actor.
