David Healy ready to wield axe after under-par display against Larne

The Blues manager insists his players have to earn right to wear jersey and a number failed to 'put their hands up' at Inver Park

David Healy says changes will be made after watching Linfield crash to a 2-0 defeat to champions Larne on Friday night.

"We should have been level at the break, after playing as poorly as we did. That would have given us some momentum. He added: "We had chances, and I don't remember our goalkeeper having too many saves to make. We knew it would be a tight game but our level of performance was poor."We ended up losing the game. I don't think we were outplayed.

"You are going to lose games along the way, I said that at the start. When bringing new players in you realise it might take a bit of time."We look forward to getting our teeth into it and improving."But he insists his players will have to perform if they want to hold onto their shirt. "We are probably searching for players who are really putting their hands up and being determined to be selected for games like tonight, and more importantly ensuring they are picked for the next one.
