Betsy Warfel, 36, allegedly converted false customer returns into Lowe's gift cards, which she used to buy items and ship them to her home, police claim.MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — A Dauphin County woman is facing multiple charges, including three felonies, after police say she stole more than $124,000 worth of merchandise and gift cards from from the Lower Swatara Township Lowe's where she was employed.

Between August 18 and October 3, when she worked at a Lowe's distribution center on the 200 block of Fulling Mill Road in Middletown, Warfel stole $124,122.39 worth of merchandise and gift cards, using the company's computer to commit the alleged crimes, police said in a criminal complaint.In an interview with her manager, Warfel allegedly admitted her actions.

Police then obtained a search warrant for the home. During the search, officers found multiple allegedly stolen items inside Warfel's home and her vehicle, according to the complaint.
