Dante Moore, the No. 3 quarterback in the country for 2023 and the No. 1 recruit in Michigan, is changing his college commitment -- from Oregon to UCLA.
. But as is the case with most top prospects, the recruiting did not stop.
According to ESPN's Pete Thamel, Moore's decision comes after former Oregon offensive coordinator Kenny Dillingham left to become the head coach at Arizona State. Also, the chance to play in the Big Ten, home of both Michigan and Michigan State, enticed the QB.and is scheduled to join the Big Ten in 2024.
Moore told ESPN that being able to be developed by Chip Kelly, Kenny Dillingham's departure to ASU and the chance to play in the Big Ten all factored into his decision. He said that NIL did not play a big role, as he didn't take any NIL meeting on recruiting trips.
