An ITV Dancing On Ice star says Holly Willoughby was down to earth but she’s "changed" and now he "doesn't know her anymore". , reports Birmingham Live.
The former ITV skating show star said: “When we started out she was very friendly, didn’t have anyone working with her. But on the last series I was on she had a team of about eight people in an entourage following everywhere she went. She became ‘Brand Holly’. "I didn’t know her any more.” He added:“We were good, friendly colleagues. We would always have a giggle behind the scenes. We had a good rapport. Enough that she could at least say, ‘Hey, I know it’s been a bit rough. Are you OK?’. But I got nothing. It made me feel disposable.”Willoughby appeared on screen for the first time on Monday - following the shock departure of her former co-host Schofield and his subsequent revelation of an affair with a younger ITV male employee.
She continued: "Firstly, are you OK? I hope so. It feels very strange indeed sitting here without Phil. And I imagine that you might have been feeling a lot like I have - shaken, troubled, let down, worried for the wellbeing of people on all sides of what's been going on, and full of questions." Willoughby continued: "You, me and all of us at This Morning gave our love and support to someone who was not telling the truth, who acted in a way that they themselves felt that they had to resign from ITV, and step down from a career that they loved. That is a lot to process. And it's equally hard to see the toll that it's taken on their own mental health.READ NEXT:
