Sara Sharif's dad, stepmum and uncle have been charged with murder after the 10-year-old girl was found dead at her home in Surrey.
Surrey Police confirmed that the Crown Prosecution Service authorised charges against the child's father, Urfan Sharif, 41, Urfan’s partner, Beinash Batool, 29, and Urfan’s brother, Faisal Malik, 28. All three, of Hammond Road, Woking, have also been charged with causing or allowing the death of a child.
The trio were arrested on Wednesday, September 13, at Gatwick Airport as they disembarked a flight from Dubai. They have now been remanded in custody and will appear at Guildford Magistrates Court today, September 15.Surrey Police said they were working this week to bring home Sara's five siblings, aged between one and 13, from Pakistan.
Speaking earlier of the arrests of the trio - who have now been charged - Sara's mother Olga Sharif told The Sun : “I am very happy that the police have made arrests.
