BREAKING: Sue Gray report to be published today followed by Boris Johnson statement.
Sue Gray’s long-awaited report into lockdown parties in Whitehall looks set to finally be sent to Number 10 today.must now decide when to publish the potentially damning dossier and how to respond.
It’s unclear how much of the report has been shelved while the Met continue their own investigations. Mr Johnson has previously said he will make a statement to the Commons shortly after the report is handed over, which could come this afternoon. Downing Street still hadn’t received the report has of 10am today but sources close to the prime minister expected it come today.
