The landmark facility – a centrepiece of life in the town for more than 140 years – has been refurbished by Renfrewshire Council.
The curtain is set to be raised on Paisley Town Hall in the coming weeks after the iconic A-listed building underwent a £22 million transformation.
Councillor Lisa-Marie Hughes, chair of OneRen, said: “Paisley Town Hall will be the area’s big stage and we are delighted the curtain is now coming up. Powered by the Paisley Daily Express, Renfrewshire Live is your go-to source for news, features and sport with live coverage provided direct to the app, seven days a week.
State-of-the-art performance facilities, such as new sound and lighting, retractable seating and a lowered stage, have also been added. Councillor Hughes added: “We’ve preserved the 19th-century grandeur that people know and love, while seamlessly integrating all the modern facilities you could hope for from a 21st-century venue.
