A vegetation fire burning in the Napa County community of St. Helena Wednesday afternoon was threatening structures, authorities said.Around 4:15 p.m., fire officials said the Crystal Fire remained at 0% containment and that it had burned 60 acres. Cal Fire also reported that five of its fire firefighters were being evaluated for unknown injuries.There were 16 engines, two dozers, three hand crews, five water tender, three air tankers, and two helicopters at the scene around 4:30 p.m.
Cal Fire said the blaze had burned some 25-30 acres about an hour after it sparked, and that it was burning toward Bell Canyon Reservoir to the east.In an earlier social media post, Cal Fire said the fire had required 'significant augmentation of air and ground resources.' Air tankers and at least one helicopter were being used to fight the fire.
