The fire was reported at the WA Parish Generating Station in the 2500 block of Y.U. Jones Road around 11:40 p.m.The Richmond Fire Department said they were assisting the facility’s response team. The Houston Fire Department also responded to the scene. According to HFD, no civilian or firefighter injuries have been reported. The public was asked to avoid the area.
