"I seen the cars crash together, and then the white car was in a lot of smoke, and I thought it was going to blow up," Englewood resident Iola Larry said. "She was laying on the ground without moving, and then eventually near the end, like when the ambulance came, then she sat up," Larry said. "And they took her to the hospital, but she looked like she was seriously hurt, though."Chicago police said the injured pedestrian was taken to the University of Chicago Hospital in good condition. A man and woman inside the white sedan were also taken to the University of Chicago Hospital in good condition.
