Courtney Barnett, Bonnie 'Prince' Billy, and Durand Jones lead the dozens of artists set for the 2024 Pickathon festival outside Portland this August.
Geese, Vacations, Jess Williamson, MSPaint, Water From Your Eyes, Elephant Revival, Ratboys, Cocorosie, and Chance Peña are also among the emerging artists on this year’s eclectic lineup.
Tickets for this year’s Pickathon, taking place Aug. 1 to 4 on Happy Valley, Oregon’s Pendarvis Farm, are available now at. In addition to the music, the festival highlights the region’s artisanal food and craft beer scene, as well as hosts programming dedicated to comedy, visual art, literature, and family fun.
This year’s Pickathon lineup arrives on a particularly joyful note: Last month, following a hearing to decide the fest’s fate, organizers secured a permit with the Happy Valley City Planning Commission to ensure that the festival will remain at the cozy confines of Pendarvis Farm for at least the next 10 years.
We want to thank the City Council, Planning Commission, and all of Happy Valley for their guidance as we applied for our permit. 10 more years of Pickathon at Pendarvis, starting this year.
