A COUPLE have been left devastated after the shock closure of their dream wedding venue just weeks before the big day.
Jane Thomson and Robert Fisher were due to to have their wedding breakfast and reception at The North Rotunda in Finnieston on Friday, October 20 after booking the location back in April.spot Cranside Kitchen, has closed according to landlords The Forrest Group.
Jane, 37, and Robert, 42, initially chose to book the North Rotunda because they"loved the architecture and the location" and could"see ourselves celebrating there". Jane says she went to the neighbouring Radisson RED, which is also owned by The Forrest Group, and was told by a member of staff they had been issued a notice the previous day that the company renting the property were closing the business.
Bosses at the Radisson RED have offered to accommodate weddings affected by the closure of The Rotunda where possible. "There is one place that’s willing to show me about next week, but they would have to tailor everything for my numbers.
