Telford & Wrekin Council will not be able to appeal plans to build a controversial solar farm after their case was rejected by the High Court.New Works Solar Farm was granted planning permission by a government minister earlier this year.
However, a minister at the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities overruled this decision in March, giving the solar farm the green light. The Council has now learned that its appeal in the High Court over New Works Solar Farm has been rejected because of a"legal technicality".
