Coronation Street's acid attack victim Ryan Connor will come face-to-face with his burn injuries for the very first time next week.
Sat up in bed, Ryan thanks Daisy for bringing Crystal with her and admits the possibility of gigging abroad has given him something else to focus on. As he scrutinises his disfigured face, the doctor breaks the dispiriting news that he's not healing as well as they'd hoped and that he'll need a skin graft.
But when Ryan and Carla head over to the canteen, he struggles with the fact that a group of nurses are sat giggling to themselves - are they laughing at him?
