Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd has led the goodbye messages to Todd Boyce following his third - but this time permanent - exit from the cobbles as Stephen Reid. Following a week of dramatic twists and turns, Stephen's desperation reached a whole new level on Friday night .
The confrontation then spilled onto the street in front of the Rovers Return where Stephen's horrified family watched on. With his passport back, Stephen looked set to spare Jenny thanks to his mother Audrey Roberts' appearance in front of him. However, he ended up being run over by Peter Barlow, moments after he’d set Jenny free, and confirmed dead before the episode came to a close.
Following the dramatic exit of Stephen, Corrie stars have been speaking out about actor Todd and wishing him well on his way to his next ventures with glowing reviews. Jack, who plays David Platt in the long-running show led the tributes to the star by sharing a picture of the pair.
