The ITV soap's PC Craig Tinker actor detailed his latest achievement
Coronation Street star Colson Smith has detailed his latest achievement, four years after finding his running mojo, ahead of preparing for a huge personal role. Fans of the actor will know he has undergone quite the transformation in the last few years having made major changes to his lifestyle during lockdown.
Colson, who is well known among fans of the ITV soap for playing Craig Tinker, or PC Craig Tinker to give him his full title, documented his battles with his weight as part of his own film 'Bored Of Being The Fat Kid’, which was released on YouTube in 2021. The film showcased the soap star finding his love for running and his journey pounding the pavements and as a result, his incredible weight loss journey too.
Captioning the post, in which he could be seen posing with a medal around his neck, the 25-year-old wrote: "Media City 5K - 18:48 . My first run over 4 years ago was in Media City just before lockdown, so to get a top 10 finish in The Media City 5K is pretty daym cool." @hphillz said: "Wow Colson! Way to go!! 18mins for a 5k?! Legend!! I hope to get faster one day. Just putting one foot in front of the other. Running is so good for mental health." @fixmyrun commented: "Brilliant, well done." @aliciapinto.x wrote: "Congratulations, such an incredible time!!"
