Desperate times call for desperate measures Killer Stephen Reid is about to carry out one of his most horrifying acts to date in his final week in Coronation Street. With Tim Metcalfe having been instrumental in his crimes coming to light, desperate Stephen pledges to silence the cabbie once and for all. Confronting him in his car, Stephen sets about trying to strangle him, before Tim is then bludgeoned to the ground.
And when it becomes increasingly clear how dangerously out of control Stephen is, she fears the worst when her husband’s bloodied wallet is found. Has Stephen really done the unthinkable? How far will Stephen go this time? Even Joe Duttine’s stunt double isn’t safe from Stephen! Joe isn’t confirming anything, but reflected on what it would mean for him if he was being written out. ‘Coronation Street’s been absolutely brilliant for me, and it’s been an absolute joy to work on.
