Developer Remedy has confirmed today that Control 2 is in development for PS5, Xbox Series X and PC 🔻👀
At the time, it seemed unlikely we’d hear anything more for several years, considering that a multiplayer spin-off is supposed to be coming out first and developer Remedy is also busy withThat plan doesn’t seem to have changed, but Remedy can now officially say that the sequel is titled Control 2 and that it will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
There’s no trailer or release date, which is unsurprising since Remedy admits that the sequel is still in the concept stage. The only real detail is that it’s still being made using Remedy’s own Northlight Engine. Remedy also reiterates its partnership with publisher 505 Games, explaining that the two companies will act as co-developers and co-publishers. Remedy will publish the game on PC while 505 publishes it for consoles.
