The most capable Canyon ever is about to get even better.
Despite not being visible from this front angle, we're also fairly certain that an AEV steel bumper will adorn the rear of the truck. A full-size matching spare tire and wheel combo is likely. And we have hopes that a snorkel, or fresh-air-intake, will be available.
Expect the truck's powertrain to remain the same as the standard 2023 Canyon lineup, with a 2.7-liter turbocharged engine and 10-speed automatic transmission. Ground clearance will improve to about 8 inches at the differential , thanks to the larger diameter Goodyear tires. We also expect approach, departure, and breakover angles to all improve as well. We'll know for sure July 6.
