'It shows a complete disregard for everyone in the area'
Holyland residents have raised concerns after "fireworks were thrown at passers-by" during a night of anti-social behaviour.
Speaking to Belfast Live, he said that those throwing the fireworks showed "a complete disregard" for everyone living in the area and that the fireworks could have easily injured someone or caused a fire.He said that over the past few weeks, the fire service have been called to the area on a number of occasions in order to deal with bin fires.
"On Tuesday night there were further problems where people were jumping up and down on the roofs of cars and throwing fireworks at passers-by on the street. "It shows a complete disregard for everyone who is living in the area, whether that is young families, elderly residents or students and we should not have to deal with this on such a regular basis."
