Tinley Park Mayor Michael Glotz and members of the Tinley Park Chamber of Commerce help cut the ribbon last week at the grand opening of Vinny’s Clam Bar.Vinny’s Clam Bar celebrated its grand opening last week at 18201 S. Harlem Ave. in Tinley Park in the former Tin Fish restaurant.
Vinny’s focus is on fresh seafood and, according to the company’s website, provides a traditional East Coast aesthetic. The menu is influenced by Italian and Mediterranean dishes. Modeled on an Italian trattoria and shellfish bar, Vinny’s will offer oysters, clams, shrimp and fresh fish delivered daily from each coast.Vinny’s uses a hearth oven cookery concept. The non-seafood menu includes handmade pasta, grilled pizzas and desserts.
The fourth United States pro paintball event in the NXL season is returning to Gaelic Park in Oak Forest for the 2023 Windy City Major on Sept. 15-17. Visitors can catch all the amateur action and trade show vendors for free for the entire weekend. General parking is also free.
