Comedian Louis C.K. is headed back to Mobile's Saenger Theatre, where he headlined a sold out show on his last visit in January 2020. The new show is scheduled for Jan. 18, a Wednesday, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 16.
. It was part of a comeback tour following a controversy that had stopped his career dead in 2017, after he was accused of using his position in the industry to subject women to sexual exposure.
At that 2020 show, Louis CK offered a limited apology, depicting himself as a person whose kinks had gotten him in “global trouble,” but who was really no worse than the people laughing at him. Throughout the set he demonstrated that he remained willing to push the limits with jokes about religion and other hot-button topics.
